Aminata Koroma: A Story of Redemption
Aminata Koroma, once a vibrant young woman with big dreams, fell victim to the grip of Kush, a dangerous drug sweeping through Sierra Leone. What began as an attempt to escape personal struggles quickly spiraled into addiction, robbing her of her future and isolating her from her family and friends.
But just as she was losing hope, the Global Foundation Network reached out. With their support, Aminata found the strength to begin her recovery. Through counseling, medical help, and the care of those who understood her pain, she slowly rebuilt her life.
Today, Aminata is a symbol of resilience and hope. She’s back in school, working toward her dream of becoming a teacher, and using her story to help others break free from addiction. Her journey reminds us that with the right support, recovery is possible, and a brighter future is always within reach.
